Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development of reliable, cost effective and high quality test Automation software for front end and backend
  • Own end-end feature testing and validation activities
  • Install and configure the product to bring up various Test Environment Configurations
  • Performs UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, load, performance and end to end testing and documentation – on Simplex, High Availability, Geo Redundant configurations
  • Improve existing Test Automation Frameworks
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal / external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members
  • Pro-active involvement to suggest and drive Improvement Ideas
  • Designing Test cases for new product features
  • Developing high quality Test Automation software – front end and backend
  • Validating Product functionality for existing and new product capabilities, Verifications of resolved defects etc
  • Attending Daily Scrum Meeting
  • Collaboration and Interactions with the team – getting clarity on issues, helping others etc
  • Troubleshooting product issues
  • Continuous learning on the Product and Domain etc

Experience and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent with 5+ years of Industry Experience in Test Automation including design, script development and maintenance

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Strong programming / scripting experience – Java / Python, Selenium. Experience working with Linux systems
  • Good understanding of the following technologies – REST APIs, XML, JSON, Wildfly, Apache Kafka, Database (Oracle, EDB, Postgres etc)
  • Passion for Test Automation, Integration and End-End Solution Testing
  • Must be self-directed, resilient and creative. Ability to work in a fast paced Agile environment with good understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Orchestration Standards – such as ETSI MANO, ONAP etc will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience on Cloud Native Architectures and Technologies will be an added advantage– Microservices, Docker, K8S, Ansible etc
