Job Description:

As Staff Software Test Engineer you will play a pivotal role in our authorize.net product team. In this mission critical role, it’s an opportunity to design and implement test solutions and taking it to the production with high quality completing all testing phases, following agile methodology. The responsibilities include gathering and clarifying requirements, facilitating communication with other groups within the organization, and guiding architectural decisions, in addition to writing, automating and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree
  • 6 -10 years of work experience in technology industry with strong manual testing skills , automation/coding skills.
  • Strong technical competency and experience with web applications, web services, C#, .NET (ASP.Net, WCF, WF, ADO.Net, Asmx, WebAPI) and Visual Studio, SQL Server and Stored Procedures..
  • Hands on in debugging/trouble shooting skills in UI, DB and API , Automation F/W setup and debugging skills
  • Must have experience in a technical capacity and quality methodology/release process/testing techniques in order to provide guidance and leadership to junior team members is required.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript based testing, with familiarity of the toolset like.
  • Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents, multi-browser testing is a must.
  • Must have experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems in Linux/Unix based application servers and IIS.
  • Must have experience testing in an AGILE environment and should have exposure to testing environment migration, DB and infrastructure/system upgrades.
  • Continuous Integration, Code/Test coverage working in different methodologies is a plus.
  • Must have proactive and strong communications to work well across teams.
