We are looking to add a creative, energetic, motivated and tech-savvy Software Test Specialist to our highly talented team of professionals in the IBM Security Connect team. As a part of this team you will get to work alongside like-minded peers building products that customers love to use. Software Test Specialist should be forward thinking about industry standards and methods for testing and automation technologies. This person should also be able to apply these standards and technologies to ensure that our offering meets the defined availability objectives for our customers.
Job Requirements:
- Two years of software coding experience.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Understanding of Automated Test frameworks.
- Experience in all phases of the development process.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience creating test cases.
- Solid foundation with Cloud technologies.
- Background in problem solving, root cause analysis, and method reproduction.
Preferred Skills:
- Three years of experience with JavaScript and/or NodeJS.
- Three years of experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha and/or Chai.
- Five years working as a software tester or quality assurance engineer.
- Five years of experience with writing automated test cases.
- Experience with IBM Cloud services is a plus.
