Job Description:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will build and execute automated performance tests that will ensure resilient, scalable, quality code releases that perform optimally on our state-of-the-art distributed infrastructure.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:

• Building automated performance tests that evaluate the performance of our systems and applications
• Setting up the performance test environment and executing performance tests
• Building performance test reports that will provide meaningful and concise view of the state of the system under test
• Evaluating performance test tools and build new tools to complete the necessary tasks
• Supporting technical risk assessment and contributing to decisions on release readiness and schedules
• Ensuring that systems and software under test meet product performance requirement
• Being a collaborative and proactive member of the teams distributed globally across Krakow, US, India and other locations

Job Requirements:

• Have 2 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Have experience automating and executing performance tests in a distributed environment
• Demonstrate experience in developing or testing network protocols and software applications
• Demonstrate experience building tools and working with protocols like TCP, HTTP/S, DNS and others
• Be well versed in developing test automation in any of the following languages: Python, Java or Perl
• Demonstrate experience working with REST based API
• Have experience working in Linux/Unix like operating systems
• Demonstrate familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices and possess excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
