Job Description:
You will need to demonstrate a passion for software testing and the desire to listen and work with peers across other geographies, client and agile project development team based in UK and other geographies. Most importantly you will need to show you can be a valued, add value, considerate member of a project team responsible for delivering working high-quality software to production.
We ideally want an experienced Automation Test Analyst with experience in test analysis, testing, test automation mainly in API testing, browser and desktop based applications and database testing.
Job Requirements:
- 5-9 years’ experience in software testing and test automation with a degree/diploma in IT/computer science
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Working closely with Test Lead, Test Architect and Test Manager
- Detailed, logical and diligent approach to testing
- Maintaining independence whilst handling diverse and conflicting pressures
- Requirement analysis, preparing test traceability matrix, test cases, test data, test execution (manual as well automation)
- Test Automation
- Experience in ETL testing
- Automation framework development and maintenance
- Document and following test plans
- Sending test completion reports with product details, issues raised, testing scope, device coverage, etc to the relevant stakeholders
- Support the testing team and work closely with the development and product teams
- Cross-browser, database, data analytic and API testing
- Log and track bugs/issues raised
- Communicate issues to developers and product teams
- Work closely with the product design and development teams to understand requirements
- Liaise with external testing teams
- Manage and coordinate tickets in Jira
- Mentoring team members
