Job Description:
The EDS Manufacturing Test Process group is a highly motivated team that delivers manufacturing test process support for Seagate Systems Division. Our mission is to provide end to end capability and support to all factories during build and test of RBOD/JBOD storage systems.
This internship will give the candidate an opportunity to work on the enhancement of architecture and design of test processes utilized in the manufacture of storage systems. The role will expose the candidate to the importance of manufacturing from a business and engineering perspective.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with a talented group of engineers on pilot enhancement projects.
- Hands on work with storage systems and test infrastructure
- Learn about storage systems technology and how it functions
- Learn about networked test infrastructures and test development and implementation
Knowledge & Skills:
- Have a passion and curiosity for cloud systems storage problems and solutions.
- Are energetic, self-driven, and a team-oriented individual.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are detail oriented and passionate about quality, testability, and maintainability of the solutions you create.
Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with Linux OS
- Experience with Python programming language
- Current Bachelor’s student in a Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering program
