Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and manage Cloud Platform ecosystem in Azure, AWS and more…

  • LEANify cloud deployments with infrastructure-as-code and automation

  • Automate operational tasks and develop applications to support cloud customers, leveraging modern software engineering practices

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc)

  • Build dashboards to provide visibility,  and UI to empower users and admins with self-service capabilities

  • Execute POCs, migrate/setup application workloads on AWS, AWS & OCI

  • Collaborate with the security team to analyze, create standards for various cloud services

  • Enhance the security posture by automating technical enforcement of policies and guidelines

  • Improve consistency and operational efficiency by automating cloud management

  • Maintain and enhance software tools, continually pursue excellence by focusing on business outcomes

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong Software Development experience with demonstrable proficiency in one or more languages – Python, Java, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, etc

  • Good understanding / background of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux or Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls and Security)

  • Thorough understanding of Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools -ex. Terraform, Chef, Puppet,ARM, etc, and cloud delivery models

  • Proficiency with AWS and/or  MS Azure Compute and Platform services

  • Advanced Knowledge of SDLC/Agile practices and tools –  CI/CD pipeline, automated testing, code reviews, Jenkins, Jira, etc

  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architecture

  • Self-motivated, team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt, train others

  • Self organized, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Definite Plus:

  • Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS)

  • Experience with microservices and container orchestration

  • Experience with testing methodologies and automation

  • Security & Firewall experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or related field

  • 2+ years of scripting and software development, in an Agile setup

  • 2+ years of Experience with unix/linux/windows

  • 1+ years of experience working on Azure and/or AWS
